The DeGroote School of Business is proud to present a unique opportunity through our course, Data Analytics with Python . Our students in our Master of Business Administration program, will be equipped with comprehensive skills in Python programming and data analytics. They are prepared to tackle real-world business challenges by performing data preprocessing, visualization, exploratory data analysis, and building statistical and machine learning models. This hands-on experience is designed to produce data-driven business decisions and valuable managerial insights. Employers participating in this experience are expected to engage in communication with the learners, provide necessary information for the project's success, attend the final presentation virtually, and offer constructive, professional feedback through the Riipen platform. Your guidance will be instrumental in shaping the future of these aspiring data analysts.

Welcome to the DeGroote School of Business' private Advance Ontario experience. This unique initiative enables industry partners to engage DeGroote undergraduate (BCom) and MBA students graduate (MBA, MFin and MSc in eHealth) students in providing solutions for their business challenges. Students dedicate 80-hours per project and receive a $1,400 CAD stipend upon successful completion. Employers provide the projects and Riipen provides the student stipend! These projects provide students with the opportunity to gain real-world experience by solving a specific social, business, design, or community related problem for an industry partner. These projects typically take place over a 4-6 week period. At the end of the projects students will be asked to present their solution to the industry partner. Here’s how it works: Craft a detailed project description (including supporting documentation) to best attract your ideal student candidate(s). Submit your project for our DeGroote team to review. Once your project gets the green light, students (individually or in teams) will apply directly. Attend a launch event and present your project to the students.
