Details

Hey! My Student Wellbeing has been created to increase accessibility to mental health services and increase mental health literacy for post-secondary students in Canada.

This project is for students who are interested in making a difference with their work by creating web based games (think of Mad libs, word searches, crosswords) that integrate mental health learning. This would be for any student who has some coding abilities who could create this interactive games.

Deliverables

Create different web based games (or one, depending on time)

Mentorship

Willing to give very clear ideas of how the games would look. Would also be available over instant message, voice calls, and email.

My Student Wellbeing provides information to educate post-secondary students in Canada on their mental health and wellbeing, as well as providing a platform where students can connect with mental health clinicians, who accept student insurance, for one to one virtual counselling. We also have a larger goal of improving student wellbeing across domains of life, such as financial literacy, nutrition, physical wellbeing, and social life.
