Details

The Campus Sustainability Initiative Enhancement project aims to bolster sustainability efforts within a post-secondary institution by developing and implementing strategic plans for campus-based programs.

The project focuses on enhancing circular economy initiatives, food security projects, and environmental advocacy efforts. Learners will collaborate with the Chapter Coordinator to align project priorities with Regenesis's mission, ensuring strategic alignment and effective program management.

The project provides an opportunity for students to apply classroom knowledge in leadership, organizational development, and sustainability-focused program management. Participants will engage in planning sessions, oversee day-to-day operations, and coordinate events to promote sustainability and community engagement. The goal is to strengthen and expand campus-based sustainability programs while increasing volunteer and community involvement.

Deliverables

The project deliverables include a basic action plan outlining tasks and timelines, a brief summary of program activities and participant experiences, and participation in at least one event or outreach effort. Additionally, students will contribute to creating simple resources or guidelines to support future sustainability initiatives.
