Student goals and capabilities

Canadore College's Practical Nursing (PRN) and Social Service Worker (SSW) students are eager to enhance their communication skills through practical, real-world projects.

These learners possess foundational abilities in researching, organizing, reframing, analyzing, writing, and presenting information. By collaborating with industry professionals, students can apply these skills to projects that require effective communication and information dissemination, ultimately preparing them for future roles in social services and personal support sectors.
